the napster rant

yesterday at midnight napster shut down. now there is NO MORE NAPSTER. and it makes me SO ANGRY that they took it away because quite frankly i was enjoying the free music revolution and the easiest way to get the music was napster and now there is NO MORE NAPSTER and imagine HOW FRUSTRATED the general free music public feels. and what makes it WORSE is that metallica is the one that STARTED this whole stupid NAPSTER CONTROVERSY because now i am not so sure that i feel the same respect for metallica as i did before. i think i will REBEL by buying a BURNED METALLICA CD so even if it won't affect them it will make ME feel MUCH BETTER.

[REFLECTION 1: the first song i downloaded on napster was fight for your right to party by the beastie boys and it was so great because i finally felt that i could know music and love it and appreciate and stuff. napster is how i found the sneaker pimps and lamb and suede and the revolutionary hydra. and when a friend recommended something i would run over to napster and listen to it and feel closer. so napster is essential for world peace. yes.]

and do you know tonight i was GOING TO download palpitation by cousin kevin because of 3eb but now i can't listen to it because NAPSTER DOESN'T EXIST and it makes me SOFA KING ANGRY and maybe if i throw stuff around i will feel better. or i can shampoo metallica. there i will SHAMPOO METALLICA.

haha. whoops. mark just said that they are not being killed until the first of march. this rant is a waste. gosh darnit. but that's okay. because i wrote it.
